Gloves

Gloves are very helpful for riding, especially long distance riding. Here in hot, humid Florida, hands get extremely sweaty during rides. That makes it harder to grip the handlebars and more likely that you’ll fumble with the controls instead of having a sure grip. Try to find a pair of gloves that are not too bulky, or you might have problems manipulating smaller buttons and knobs on your bike. The gloves should also have some shielding on the outside of the fingers and knuckles to protect your hands from any rocks or road debris. Boots

High temperatures are just the reality of riding in Florida, and they sometimes cause riders to make poor footwear decisions.
